On 16–17 May 2026, the Geothermal Fieldtrip to Ulu Slim Hot Spring, Perak brought together participants from diverse industries and backgrounds for a valuable learning experience on Malaysia's geothermal resources and geological setting.

The programme featured hands-on geological observations, geothermal site visits, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing led by experienced trainers. It also provided an excellent platform for participants to exchange ideas and experiences while gaining a deeper understanding of geothermal systems and sustainable energy development.

We sincerely thank all participants, speakers, facilitators, and collaborators for their enthusiasm and active participation. We look forward to welcoming everyone to future geoscience and geothermal programmes.
