A Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony involving Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), the Institute of Geology Malaysia (IGM) and Digital Geoscience Global Sdn. Bhd. (DGeG) is being held today, 1 October 2026, at the National Energy Centre, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (NEC, UNITEN).

The ceremony marks an important step towards strengthening cooperation among the three organisations and establishing a foundation for future collaboration in geoscience and related areas.

By bringing together an established academic institution, a professional geoscience organisation and an industry-focused company, the partnership creates opportunities to connect academic knowledge, professional expertise and industry experience.

The MoU reflects a shared commitment to encouraging knowledge exchange, developing professional connections and exploring joint initiatives that can contribute to the continued advancement of the geoscience sector.

IGM looks forward to working closely with ITB and DGeG to translate this institutional relationship into meaningful programmes and long-term collaboration.
