The course was sucessfuly conducted on the 20–21 December 2010 at National Hydraulic Research Institute of Malaysia (NAHRIM), Lot 5377 Jalan Putra Permai, 43300 Seri Kembangan, Selangor Darul Ehsan and attended by 37 participants form various govt agencies, drilling companies, water concessionaires and universities.

It was organised by IGM in collaboration with NAHRIM, Jabatan Mineral dan Geosains Malaysia (JMG) and University Malaya.
