We are pleased to announce that IGM has completed its review exercise and has submitted a list of IGM members who have been nominated by the IGM Council for automatic registration with the Board of Geologists. This list comprises 542 members whose subscriptions are not in arrears as of 15 OCT 2015.

Forms for registering with Board of Geologists are now available for download from IGM website www.igm.org.my or can be obtained directly from the office of the Registrar of the Board of Geologists.

Form A	Application for registration as a Registered Graduate Geologist	To be filled by Graduate Member (Highlighted as yellow in the list)
Form C	Application for registration as a Registered Professional Geologist	To be filled by IGM Fellow and Full Members
Form D	Application for registration as a Registered Practitioner	To be filled by IGM Licenciate Member (Coded brownish yellow in the list)
Form E	Application for registration as a Registered Foreign Geologist	To be filled by Foreign IGM member

ALL nominated members are required to fill in the appropriate forms for the class of registration they are qualified to apply for, and submit the form together with the relevant documents and payment. Members are reminded that the form filled is a legal document and they are solely responsible for the information declared. Any false declaration is an infringement of the Geologists Act and members will be penalised according to the provisions of the Act. IGM is not responsible for any rejection by the Board of Geologists.

All forms are required to reach the office of the Board of Geologists on or before 27 November 2015 to the address below.

Note:
a)    All copies of certificates, testimonies and documents must be certified as proof thereof.
b)    Each application must be submitted together with a processing fee of RM50.00 which is non-refundable.
c)    The amount of registration fee as stipulated in the respective forms should be paid within two months from the date of approval notification.
d)    All payments in cash/online/money order/bank draft/cheque should be made payable to the Lembaga Ahli Geologi (Maybank Account No. 564052522670).
